Walk-to-terminal parking at BNE splits into three products, and they are not interchangeable. One is built for a couple of hours, one for a domestic departure you have already booked, and one is not a product at all but a cover type that turns up in several of them. Read them by what they are for, then match the one to your trip.

Short-term, walk-in

ParkShort

Brisbane Airport's short-term product, on Level 2 of the Domestic Terminal car park and at ground level of the International Terminal. It is designed for pick-up and drop-off and stays of up to four hours. If your trip is a quick airport run rather than a holiday, this is the format that was built for it. The domestic pick-up waiting guidance notes that the first 15 minutes can be free for certain pick-up use cases, which matters if you are collecting someone and the timing works out.

Express, online only

ParkFly

ParkFly sits on Level 3 of the P2 car park at the Domestic Terminal and runs 4am to midnight. It is online-booking only, so turning up and hoping is not the plan here. Brisbane Airport presents it as a quick, convenient option for domestic departures, and that is the honest pitch: less walking than a shuttle site, less time than a standard car park. It suits a solo traveller or a couple travelling with carry-on. It is a weaker fit for a family hauling four bags and a pram at 5am.

Weather cover is a feature that appears across more than one product, including ParkPremium and some AIRPARK options when you book online. It is listed as available at both terminals. Treat it as something you check in the product description rather than something you assume from a title, because where the bays sit under a roof varies by deck and by product.

The decision is not which car park is nicer. It is how much of your morning you are willing to spend between the car and the gate, and what that is worth to you on this particular trip.

You park in the building attached to the terminal and walk in. Nothing waits for you and you wait for nothing, which is the whole reason this option costs more per day. You park further out and a transfer takes you to the terminal. This is where longer trips usually land, because the daily rate behaves differently from a terminal car park. Rail and drop-off

The Airtrain and a lift from a friend both remove parking from the trip entirely. Neither needs a booking and neither holds a space for you, which is their advantage and their limit. If someone is dropping you, the pick-up and drop-off page is the more useful read than this one.

Undercover isn't the same as premium

This trips a lot of people up at the terminal car parks, and it is worth two minutes before you pay for the wrong thing.

People who fly from BNE often do the same four things before they book, and they do them in this order. It saves more time than any price comparison will.

Confirm the terminal first. A Domestic booking and an International booking are not the same drive, and swapping them late costs more than any daily rate difference.
Check whether the product is online-only, and check its hours. ParkFly is a booked-in-advance product and runs 4am to midnight, so an 11pm arrival without a booking is a different situation to a 9am one.
